A fishing permit is necessary for fishing on the ValJoly lake (Fishing Federation regulations). They are also liable to pay a fishing tax, on sale at the Maison du ValJoly.

The ValJoly fishing centre, located at the Base, rents out 10 motorized fishing boats and all the necessary equipment. Courses are also organized, on an individual basis (visitors, local residents..) as well as for groups.
Rental
Hop into one of our silent, electrically powered boats and go fishing on the lake. The boats are fully equipped (tank, grapple, oars, life-vests) and can be rented from the Base (upon reservation only). Fishing kits (two rods, lines, bait...) can also be rented.
Fishing courses
Discover the different fishing techniques: long pole fishing, the modern method of carp fishing. Grab your fishing poles, go out there and get them!
Dates : Easter holidays, July and August
Schedule : 5 x 3 hours from Monday to Friday (9-12 AM)
Age : 7 years and up
Group classes
An introduction to pole fishing, this course will teach you how to identify the various types of fish, the regulations and laws regarding their capture, etc. All the equipment will be provided... the fishes are waiting for you.
Dates : from April to September (except on week-ends)
Schedule : 9 AM - 11:30 AM or 2 PM - 4:30 PM
Numbers : 10 to 12 people from 7 years up
