A With over 380 hectares of nature to explore by bike, ValJoly is the perfect playground for mountain bike lovers. Roam through the woods and explore the south of the Avesnois region, through six, clearly marked biking trails. Get expert advice from a professional bike trainer at the station’s Base, official National Mountain biking Centre of the French Cycling Federation.

Mountain and city bike hire

You have left your bicycle at home, but faced with the beauty of the region, you feel the urge to explore it by bike? Don’t worry, you can rent all you need with us: mountain bikes, all purpose bikes, helmets, baby seats... and even, once you return, a special bike washing facility. You will need to provide an identity card and leave a € 300 safety

Mountain biking classes

Introduction to the various aspects of mountain biking: preparing your trip, orienteering, choice of itinerary, use of the equipment, physical preparation, respect of the environment and of the other users.

Dates : school holidays

Opening hours : 5 x 3 hour sessions from Monday to Friday (9-12 AM)

Age : from 7 years up
Condition : Mountain biking licence

Group classes

• Activity "Exploring ValJoly"

by bike (mountain, hybrid or road bike)

Dates : from February to November (except on week-ends)
Departures : 9 AM - 11:30 AM or 2 PM - 4:30 PM

Numbers : 10 to 12 people from 7 years up

• Activity "Guided tour"

Using your own equipment but accompanied by a guide, tour the lanes and pathways of ValJoly by bike.
